My fascination for camera started very early in my childhood. First camera I touched was an Agfa black and white model which used a film roll which could take only 12 pics. The whole excitement of clicking pics and then taking to studio for developing and printing was simply amazing. The disappointment when the whole roll got exposed or spoiled or the bliss when you got one or two good shots. Cataloging and putting them in album had its own charm.
Then slowly graduated to colour films but again using another upgraded model of Agfa. The whole world of film rolls from Kodak, Konica, Fuji, Agfa was fascinating. Photography is an expensive hobby when you are a child so just dreamt of all those fancy cameras. Finally got a little sophisticated camera from Minolta which was a craze those days due to automated movements and compactness. Quality of film rolls, lenses and studios improved dramatically. Its has been a journey in exploring cameras from Canon, Olympus etc. I fell in love with Digital Camera when I bought my first one in 2000 which was a Minolta one. It has been a great exploration for me with Digital imaging since then exploring Canon, Sony, Samsung Cameras in last few years.

DSLR was a revelation for me and my first one was from Canon EOS 650 D and my exploration with various lenses started. My interest in wildlife photography increased with this access to better lens and camera. Loved my first DSLR before upgrading to Canon 70D and my first top quality lens in Canon f2.8 70-200 mm which showed me what a good lens can do to your images. Canon 7D, 70D, 100-400 mm and 70-200 mm lens have been my companion on my wildlife adventures.

Finally in 2020 i took the plunge into world of full frame and mirrorless camera with Sony A7 R4. This was a gift from my wifey Aarti to celebrate 20 years of our adventure called marriage. The best gift u can give to a wildlife enthusiast π₯°…
