Always believed that if you end the year on high note then its sets the right theme for the new year. Last week of 2021 was a week of exploration of Deep South of 🇮🇳…. Pondicherry, Pichavaram Mangrove Forest and Chidambaram. A vibe of French settlement to vastness of Bay of Bengal in Pondicherry to beautiful mangrove forests of Pichavaram to magnificent temples of Chidambaram was a treat to our senses.
This set the mood for adventure for 2022.My wildlife trips started with Ranganthitu bird sanctuary then hit Bhadra Tiger Reserve then Bandavgarh National Park. All this in first half of 2022.
Second half was a spiritual adventure which took us to mighty Himalayas… Kedarnath, Badrinath, Tunganath and Auli 🙏🙏🙏.
In between we hit Ooty, Sakleshpur and Wayanad to experience the beautiful hills of south India. We experienced Tea estates to coffee estates of Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala…
A little bit of international travel was also thrown in with my visit to Malaysia- Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi were amazing. Setting foot 🦶 on overseas ground after 3 years of COVID restrictions.
We ended 2022 on a high note with road trip across Gujarat…. Blend of wildlife, culture and exotic landscapes. Experienced the beauty of Asiatic Lions in Gir to blessing of Lord Krishna and Shiva in Dwarka to White Rann of Kutch. From Rann Utsav in Greater Kutch to salt panes of Little Run of Kutch where we saw Indian Wild Ass in salt desert. Blackbuck and Harriers welcome us in Velavadar.
It was an amazing 365 days of adventure and excitement with Aarti & Akshat. Looking forward to repeat in 2023 and hope to get onto Roads much less travelled 👣…
